Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website at www.centurypacker.in and the relocation services provided by Century Packer across India. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Century Packer, its employees, agents and representatives.
  • "Customer" refers to any individual or business that books or inquires about our services.
  • "Services" refers to all relocation services offered by Century Packer including home shifting, office relocation, vehicle transport, packing, unpacking and storage.
  • "Website" refers to www.centurypacker.in and all its pages.
  • "Booking" refers to a confirmed service agreement between the Customer and the Company.

2. Use of Website

By using our website, you agree to the following:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to use our services.
  • You will provide accurate, complete and truthful information in all forms and inquiries.
  • You will not misuse, hack or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems.
  • You will not use our website for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
  • You will not reproduce, copy or distribute any content from our website without prior written permission.
  • You will not submit false or misleading inquiries or bookings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website for any user who violates these terms without prior notice.

3. Service Booking and Confirmation

The following terms apply to all service bookings made with Century Packer:

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after written confirmation is provided by Century Packer via phone, WhatsApp or email.
  • Submitting an inquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking.
  • The final price is confirmed only after a physical or virtual survey of your goods by our representative.
  • All bookings are subject to availability of vehicles, staff and resources on the requested date.
  • Century Packer reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion without providing a reason.
  • Any changes to a confirmed booking must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

4. Pricing and Payment

Our pricing policy is as follows:

  • All prices quoted are estimates unless confirmed in writing by our representative.
  • Final pricing is based on the actual volume of goods, distance, floor access, stairs, elevator availability and additional services required.
  • All prices are inclusive of standard packing materials unless otherwise specified.
  • GST (Goods and Services Tax) is applicable as per current government norms and will be charged in addition to the service price.
  • Payment is due as per the agreed schedule communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
  • We accept payment via cash, UPI, bank transfer and other digital payment methods as agreed.
  • Century Packer does not charge any hidden fees. Any additional charges will be communicated in advance.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for the following:

  • Providing accurate and complete information about the items to be moved, including quantities, sizes, fragility and special handling requirements.
  • Disclosing any items that require special care such as antiques, artwork, pianos, heavy machinery or hazardous materials.
  • Ensuring clear access to the pickup and delivery locations for our team and vehicles.
  • Being present or having an authorized representative present at both pickup and delivery locations.
  • Ensuring all items are ready for packing on the agreed date and time.
  • Obtaining necessary permissions from housing societies, building management or landlords for the move.
  • Settling all outstanding dues before or on the day of delivery as agreed.

6. Prohibited Items

Century Packer will not transport the following items under any circumstances:

  • Explosives, firearms, ammunition or any weapons.
  • Flammable, toxic or hazardous chemicals and materials.
  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances or contraband.
  • Live animals or plants.
  • Perishable food items.
  • Cash, jewelry, precious stones or high-value documents (unless specifically agreed and insured).
  • Any item prohibited by law or regulation in India.

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring no prohibited items are included in the move. Century Packer will not be liable for any loss, damage or legal consequences arising from prohibited items.

7. Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation terms apply to all bookings:

  • Cancellation 7+ days before move date — Full refund of any advance payment made.
  • Cancellation 3-6 days before move date — 50% of the advance payment will be refunded.
  • Cancellation 48 hours before move date — 25% of the advance payment will be refunded.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of move date — No refund. The full advance amount will be forfeited.
  • Rescheduling — Bookings can be rescheduled once at no additional charge if requested at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability.

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or WhatsApp to be valid.

8. Liability and Insurance

Century Packer takes utmost care in handling your belongings. Our liability terms are as follows:

  • Century Packer provides basic transit insurance for all moves. The coverage amount is as per the standard policy terms communicated at the time of booking.
  • Our liability is limited to the insured value of the damaged or lost item as assessed by the insurance provider.
  • Claims for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Claims reported after this period will not be accepted.
  • Century Packer is not liable for damage to items that were already damaged or defective before the move.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control including traffic, weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or road closures.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses including loss of income, business or opportunity.
  • Enhanced insurance coverage is available at an additional cost upon request at the time of booking.

9. Damage Claims Process

In the event of damage or loss during transit, please follow this process:

  • Inspect all items carefully at the time of delivery before signing any delivery confirmation.
  • Note any damage or missing items on the delivery receipt and photograph the damage immediately.
  • Report the claim in writing to [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Provide photographs, delivery receipt and a detailed description of the damage or loss.
  • Our team will investigate the claim within 7 business days and respond with a resolution.
  • Valid claims will be settled in accordance with the transit insurance policy terms.

10. Force Majeure

Century Packer shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, cyclones or landslides.
  • Government orders, lockdowns, curfews or travel restrictions.
  • Strikes, civil unrest or labor disputes.
  • Fuel shortages or vehicle breakdowns caused by unforeseen circumstances.
  • Pandemic, epidemic or public health emergencies.

In such cases, Century Packer will make every reasonable effort to complete the service at the earliest possible time and will communicate updates to the customer promptly.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, images, logos, graphics, videos and software is the intellectual property of Century Packer and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce or distribute any content from our website without prior written permission.
  • Use our logo, brand name or trademarks without authorization.
  • Create derivative works based on our content.
  • Scrape, crawl or extract data from our website using automated tools.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Century Packer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness or reliability of information on our website.
  • The uninterrupted or error-free operation of our website.
  • The fitness of our services for any particular purpose beyond what is explicitly agreed.

Pricing information shown on our website is indicative only and subject to change without notice.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India. We encourage customers to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication before resorting to legal action.

14. Changes to Terms

Century Packer reserves the right to modify, update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
